CERTIFICATE / LICENSE REQUIRED: Rhode Island Building Level Administrator PK-12 Certificate, * Demonstrated experience supporting professional learning, leadership development, or educator development in a K-12 educational setting. * Demonstrated ability to design, coordinate, and facilitate high-quality professional learning for adult learners. * Knowledge of effective school leadership, instructional practices, and professional learning principles. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deliverables while effectively navigating ambiguity and changing needs. * Strong planning, organizational, project management, and resource management skills. * Ability to analyze data, feedback, and emerging needs to inform professional learning, resources, and supports. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills. * Demonstrated ability to develop clear, practical tools, resources, training materials, and guidance for school leaders and staff. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with school leaders, educators, Human Resources, Teaching and Learning, and other district departments. * Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team. * Ability to use and support technology platforms and systems related to professional learning, data management, and communication. * Flexibility and willingness to travel locally and work evenings or weekends, as needed. * Demonstrated commitment to urban K-12 education and improving outcomes for students, educators, and school communities., * Notice of E-Verify Participation (English/Spanish) * IER Right to Work Poster (English/Spanish) ## Description The Supervisor of Principal Support will work closely with the Principal Supervisor & Executive Director of Professional Development and Principal Support to advance PPSD's leadership development and professional learning priorities. The role will assist in the design, coordination, and implementation of high-quality professional learning, tools, and resources for school leaders, educators, and staff; provide responsive, just-in-time support to school leaders; and identify emerging needs to inform targeted professional learning, resources, and supports. The Supervisor will also contribute to the planning and implementation of districtwide professional development and collaborate with Teaching and Learning and other central office teams to ensure professional learning is aligned with district priorities and responsive to the needs of schools and staff., * Supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of districtwide professional development for school leaders, educators, and other staff aligned with district priorities and identified needs. * Coordinates and facilitates professional development workshops, institutes, and districtwide professional learning days, as assigned. * Develops and refines tools, templates, protocols, training materials, and other resources to support school leaders, educators, and staff in implementing district priorities and strengthening professional practice. * Supports professional development systems and processes, including course setup, registration, attendance, professional learning credit documentation, data entry, and maintenance of accurate professional development records within the district's learning management system. * Provides technical assistance to school leaders, educators, and staff related to professional development systems and platforms. * Analyzes professional development participation data and feedback to inform future learning opportunities and continuous improvement. * Collaborates with Teaching and Learning and other district departments to ensure professional development is coherent, aligned with district instructional priorities, and responsive to the needs of schools and staff. Principal Support and Development * Provides ongoing, differentiated support to school leaders based on identified leadership, instructional, and professional learning needs. * Provides responsive, just-in-time support to school leaders when leadership challenges or emerging school-based needs arise. * Works closely with school leaders to identify needs and translate those needs into targeted professional learning, tools, resources, and supports. * Identifies trends emerging through work with school leaders and uses them to inform and refine professional learning, training, tools, and resources for school leaders districtwide. * Supports the development and implementation of professional learning opportunities for new and experienced school administrators. * Collaborates with Human Resources and other central office departments, as appropriate, to ensure school leaders receive coordinated guidance and support related to employee supervision, performance management, and personnel matters.
