## About the Role

This long-term Datacenter Technician (Level 2) role supports the buildout and ongoing operations of production datacenters, including racks, bench-testing areas, and other critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on datacenter operations experience, advanced break/fix troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with network teams in a fast-paced environment., * 2-3 years of hands-on Datacenter Technician experience

 * Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and isolate server issues using Linux.
 * Experience with rack/stack, server configuration, and datacenter hardware installation.
 * Proficiency with cabling, wiring, and physical infrastructure tasks.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with network teams., Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), Level 2 Datacenter Operations

 * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and isolate server issues using Linux-based tools and logical break/fix methodologies.
 * Order, replace, and install server components; return defective parts to vendors.
 * Perform firmware updates to ensure servers are running the latest versions.
 * Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers.
 * Support network administrators with tasks such as:
 + Replacing damaged or broken cables
 + Re-routing cables to alternate ports
 + Replacing optics on server and switch ports
 + Installing upgraded server components
 * Temporarily rack, stack, and cable servers or switches to enable remote configuration by network teams.
 * Provide targeted assistance to network admins requesting hands-on support.
 * Perform Level 1 duties as needed, including rack/stack and deployment support., Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates.
