A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or, 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or, 3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. ## Description The IT Division is in need of a Genetec Support Engineer to support our Genetec Video Management System, underlying Windows and VMware infrastructure, EMC SAN environment, Genetec Door Control System, LPR and Body Camera environments. Candidate will be part of a team Responsible for 24x7 support and coverage across all DOC operations and facilities in the City of NY. The Genetec Support Engineer will serve as a member of the technical support team responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of critical security systems across DOC operations and facilities throughout New York City. The position will support the Department's Genetec Video Management System (VMS) and associated infrastructure, including Windows servers, VMware environments, EMC storage systems, access control, License Plate Recognition (LPR), and Body-Worn Camera technologies.
