The G-SIL is a government-owned Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) integration and test facility staffed by Army civilians and contractor personnel from multiple organizations. The Software/System Analyst will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and operational test professionals to plan, execute, analyze, and report on real-time test events and experiments. The position will support testing and analysis of evolving IBCS Major End Items (MEIs), adapted weapons and sensors, interfaces within the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) system of systems, and interfaces with other Army and Joint systems across live and virtual test environments. The successful candidate will apply software analysis, simulation, systems integration, and test-analysis expertise to evaluate system performance, identify defects and limitations, assess mission impacts, and communicate findings to government leadership and technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Army Air and Missile Defense systems, operational concepts, and doctrine is highly preferred. Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills are required. Position Responsibilities Evaluate the functional capabilities of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) family of systems against Agile features, user stories, requirements, and Interface Control Documentation (ICDs). Document software and system defects, limitations, and anomalies in JIRA and communicate significant issues to appropriate technical working groups. Develop technical analysis findings, presentations, and briefings for government leadership and the PAE Fires Joint Data Analysis community. Collaborate with hardware, software, systems engineering, and operational test personnel to resolve technical issues and support successful execution of integrated test events. ## Related Videos - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [Leveraging Large Language Models for Legacy Code Translation: Challenges and Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1157-leveraging-large-language-models-for-legacy-code-translation-challenges-and-solutions) - [Dirty Tests And How To Clean Them](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/515-dirty-tests-and-how-to-clean-them) - [Crew Management System for Airlines: Plan duties for pilots & flight attendants worldwide](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1444-crew-management-system-for-airlines-plan-duties-for-pilots-flight-attendants-worldwide) - [Collaboration Quantified: Lessons from Open Source Developer Networks](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1422-collaboration-quantified-lessons-from-open-source-developer-networks) - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [How software is steering vehicle technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/515-how-software-is-steering-vehicle-technology) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing)
