 * Strong SQL skills
 * Strong Python programming skills
 * Experience building and supporting data pipelines and enterprise data solutions
 * Ability to troubleshoot and triage data issues independently
 * Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
 * Able to work proactively with limited direction
 * Capable of leading projects when needed

Nice-to-Have Skills
These are not requirements but would be beneficial:

 * Azure Data Factory (ADF)
 * Additional Azure ecosystem experience
 * AI/ML data preparation experience

Manager noted that ADF is not currently used heavily but familiarity with it is advantageous., * A Databricks-heavy Data Engineer

 * Comfortable in a Lakehouse environment
 * Strong in SQL and Python
 * Retail and merchandising savvy
 * Able to communicate effectively with business partners
 * A proactive self-starter who can hit the ground running
 * Someone who can own problems rather than wait for direction
