Hands-on experience with RNA-seq and whole exome sequencing data is expected. Familiarity with proteomics data is preferred. * Knowledge of project management and oncology research. Knowledge of vivo oncology models (Xenograft/PDX) required. Understanding pre-clinical drug development a plus. * Customer service skills, timely decision making, good interpersonal skills, and an ability to be persistent while maintaining tact. * Demonstrated ability to explain technical results clearly to non-technical audiences. This is an essential requirement of the role. * Must have the ability to balance several priorities simultaneously with high attention to detail. * Ability for frequent adaptation, self-organization, and accountability. * Effective oral and written communication skills in English are required. * Scripting ability in Python and/or R, and comfort working at the Linux command line. * Working knowledge of cloud data handling, preferably AWS and S3, including safe transfer of large datasets. * Experience with Salesforce, or a comparable CRM, is preferred. * Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Ph.D. or M.S. degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or a related quantitative life science preferred. * Five or more years of experience in translational or preclinical research, data delivery, or a similar client-facing position.
