## About the Role

* 3+ years of experienceworking in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software development roles.
 * Proficiency inAWS technologies, including EKS, Secrets Manager, Security Groups, and Networking.
 * Strong skills inTerraformandKubernetesfor managing scalable, reliable infrastructure.
 * Experience in programming and scripting in Python.
 * Experience withHelmandAnsibleto manage Kubernetes workloads and configuration automation.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Familiarity with Army-specific or government-related IT policies, frameworks, or regulatory requirements.
 * Knowledge of additional cloud infrastructure tools and best practices.
 * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 * Demonstrated proficiency GitOps Tooling including configuration, deployment and administration.

## Description

The Cisco Workspace for Government Team is in search of an exceptional DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain critical application infrastructure that supports mission-critical government operations. At Cisco, your ability to tackle complex problems and build reliable, scalable solutions will help shape the future of technology and contribute to making our nation safer.

 * Lead and Support the design, deployment, and maintenance ofAWS cloud-based application infrastructure, including services such as ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
 * Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams inside of Cisco and external to Cisco to address dependencies and ensure seamless integration across projects.
 * Work withTerraform (TF)andKubernetes (K8s)to automate and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
 * Develop scripts and automation tools, with a focus onPython, to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
