Physical Requirements: * This position requires regular physical activity, including walking customer sites during surveys, climbing ladders, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Pre-Employment screening requirements are part of our pre-hire job offer process, to include background checks and drug testing. ## Description Network Controls and Electric Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced Wireless Survey & Fortinet Network Specialist. This role performs on-site Wi-Fi heat mapping and surveys using Ekahau, designs wireless networks to support accurate quoting of new jobs, and configures and maintains Fortinet FortiGate infrastructure, including site-to-site IPsec VPN tunnels. The specialist will also serve as the company's go-to resource for customer Wi-Fi connectivity issues - dispatched onsite to test, analyze, and resolve wireless problems for business, school, and other clients. The specialist will work closely with our estimating and field teams, and at times will participate in installations or assist in training other technicians. Some travel may be required on a case-by-case basis. This is an hourly position with overtime potential and shift differential pay when work is required outside of the standard schedule.
