## About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of our software products, driving innovation, and mentoring junior members of the engineering team. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end software development process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and industry standards.

Being a small but growing team, you will also need strong communication skills, work across the enterprise and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

This is a full-time role based in Kansas City and we're currently operating in a flexible, hybrid work environment., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

 * Minimum of 6 years of work experience with strong software engineering experience
 * Minimum of 3 years of work experience leading technical projects or teams
 * Strong Object Oriented programming skills
 * Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
 * Familiarity with website optimization, security, and SEO best practices
 * Manage server configurations and administration
 * Monitor server performance, security, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
 * Understanding of HIPAA compliance
 * Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms and LAMP stack technologies
 * Proficiency in server administration using cPanel and WHM
 * Experience working with Health Plans and Health Systems
 * Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
