## About the Role

* High School Diploma or GED
 * Academic, internship, project or professional experience in software engineering/development
 * Strong understanding of programming languages such as embedded C++, Java, or Python
 * Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including version control systems
 * Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques, * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
 * Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development
 * Experience in aerospace software development.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
 * Passion for technology and innovation.

## Description

As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions that enhance our aerospace products and services. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with experienced engineers and gaining hands-on experience in software development. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our aerospace solutions by developing high-quality software that meets customer needs and industry standards., You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F., * Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications for aerospace systems

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement software solutions
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes
 * Travel: up to 10%
