## Description

The Junior JIPCAN System Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
The candidate will:

 * System Administration and operations of Microsoft environments
 * Support the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as required to ensure continuous performance and ATO
 * Manage system configuration and operation of servers
 * Manage, configure, maintain client-based computer systems
 * Perform system monitoring, scanning, and response activities
 * Perform administration operations and maintenance activities of hardware and software
 * Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot system errors and client system issues
 * Perform and maintain DoD Information System Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance with routine patching for updates released by vendors
 * Manage, update, and maintain configuration management of all configuration changes to systems, patches and anti-virus software updates
 * Perform system analysis for virtual service health status to include resource utilization and performance requirements to ensure optimal performance of systems
 * Perform routine scans and anti-virus software updates on all systems
 * Perform system automation activities with utilizing scripting tools/languages
