Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
Experience with enterprise scale cloud migration programs
Familiarity with automation Infrastructure as Code IaC and DevOps practices
Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Education

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Migrations Senior Consultant with strong expertise in application migration cloud architecture and the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing existing on-premises environments designing target AWS architectures defining migration strategies and leading endtoend migration initiatives This role will act as a centralized technical resource supporting multiple applications stakeholders and migration requests across the organization
Key Responsibilities
Assess and analyse existing on-premises application infrastructure and platform architectures
Design scalable secure and cost-effective AWS target architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
Develop migration roadmaps strategies and execution plans for diverse application portfolios
Lead end-to-end migration activities including discovery assessment planning execution validation and optimization
Collaborate with application owners infrastructure teams architects and business stakeholders to ensure successful migrations
Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership throughout the migration lifecycle
Evaluate application dependencies performance requirements security considerations and operational readiness
Support modernization initiatives where appropriate including rehosting replat forming and refactoring strategies
Ensure adherence to SDLC processes governance standards and architectural best practices
Act as a centralized point of contact for migration related support requests across multiple applications
Identify risks mitigation strategies and contingency plans during migration programs
