## Description

The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure including desktop computers, peripheral devices, printers, and communication systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with deployments and upgrades, and providing responsive technical support to internal users.
Key Responsibilities

 * Assist with repair, inventory tracking, management, and deployment of new systems
 * Upgrade and maintain existing computer systems and hardware
 * Perform daily administration and maintenance of desktop devices
 * Provide end-user support via phone and deskside assistance
 * Ensure usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software
 * Participate in a rotating schedule supporting a 24/7 on-call production environment
 * Perform computer deployments and execute hardware refresh initiatives
 * Monitor and triage incoming helpdesk tickets and collaborate with IT staff to resolve issues
 * Troubleshoot desktop computing, network equipment, and software issues
 * Provide printer, copier, and scanner support
 * Assist with maintenance of network, server, and telephone systems when needed
 * Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures
 * Manage and track IT assets and coordinate ordering of IT supplies and equipment
