Ideally, you will have experience across several of the following areas: * High-speed digital electronics * Multilayer PCB design and layout * Schematic capture and PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer or OrCAD * Signal integrity * Analogue electronics and circuit simulation * FPGA-based hardware, ideally with exposure to VHDL * Embedded C and hardware/firmware integration * RF electronics or interfacing with RF systems * MATLAB * Automated hardware testing or scripting * Hardware verification, validation and board bring-up * Component lifecycle and obsolescence management * Supporting electronics through development and into manufacture Experience within defence, aerospace, radar, communications, marine electronics, instrumentation or another complex electronic product environment would be particularly relevant. You should be comfortable taking ownership of designs, solving complex technical problems and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams.
