They are responsible for guiding the team to success during 2-week Sprints by using the best practices of Disciplined Agile Development team management Principles, Promises and Guidelines. The primary responsibility of the Scrum Master is to manage the logistics and resolve bottlenecks to keep their Agile team(s) on track to successfully complete all committed Sprint tasks. The Scrum Master also assists in planning by guiding the team to estimate work, building forecasts and leading grooming sessions. The Scrum Master also contributes to the management of the work backlog prioritization/clean up. Along with leading the team and contributing the organization of the product backlog. The Scrum Master may also design & create new stories/tasks for the work backlog via coordination with the Business Analyst, Product Owner and/or Software Development Manager. You will exemplify NASCENT Core Behaviors: ownership, positive attitude and people oriented.
