Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. ## Description Humana is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to help develop and support Salesforce Health Cloud solutions that power our growing Primary Care business. In this role, you will contribute to applications that enable sales teams to connect prospective patients with senior-focused primary care services. Working alongside engineers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders, you will help design, build, test, and support Salesforce-based solutions while growing your expertise in Salesforce technologies, healthcare operations, and modern software engineering practices, Salesforce Development & Configuration * Develop and maintain Salesforce Health Cloud solutions using Apex, Flows, OmniStudio, and Lightning Components. * Configure Salesforce functionality to support business requirements and enhance user experiences. * Build and support custom workflows, automations, and platform-based solutions. * Assist with integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and integration platforms. * Participate in the design, testing, deployment, and support of new features and enhancements. * Follow established engineering standards, coding best practices, and security requirements. Collaboration & Agile Delivery * Partner with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical solutions. * Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT teams to deliver high-quality applications. * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. * Contribute to peer code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Communicate project status, technical challenges, and risks effectively. Testing & Support * Develop and execute unit tests and support integration and user acceptance testing. * Troubleshoot application issues and production defects. * Support application deployments and post-release validation activities. * Monitor system performance and identify enhancement opportunities. * Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. * Support CI/CD processes and software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards. Documentation * Maintain user stories, technical tasks, and development activities in Azure DevOps (ADO). * Create and update technical, configuration, and support documentation. * Document application changes, deployment activities, and troubleshooting procedures. * Support knowledge transfer and operational readiness documentation.
