Typically gained by at least one year of experience developing or reviewing program procedures and policies for compliance with state and federal laws. * Preparing and presenting detailed information to groups of people. Typically gained by at least one year of experience researching, compiling, and organizing information in order to make oral presentations about the information to groups in a business setting. Topics may be informational, technical, or behavioral. Include in your response audience size, topic, length, and frequency of the presentations. One-to-one training is not qualifying. * Translating technical material into easily understandable oral and written communication. Typically gained by at least one year of experience of interpretation of information and translation to others in various formats (oral, graphic, web based, etc.) Some examples would be : experience working with clients explaining how laws, rules, or regulations apply to their circumstances; communicating information to the public or project team; preparing written responses to request for program information; preparing written training material. Preferred Qualifications * Experience processing fiscal transactions, including reimbursements, invoices, and budget reconciliations. * Ability to interpret policies and communicate technical information effectively. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Knowledge of HubSpot, Jotform, LUMA, and IdahoWorks. * Knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship or workforce development programs. * Experience with grant-funded programs and fiscal compliance. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Strong analytical, customer service, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ## Description The mission of the Idaho Department of Labor is to support individuals through career transitions, determine benefit eligibility, connect employers with workers and oversee tax and labor law compliance. The Program Specialist Technician - Apprenticeship Coordinator provides fiscal and administrative support for Idaho's Registered Apprenticeship programs. This position processes reimbursements, monitors budgets, ensures compliance with state and federal funding requirements, and provides technical assistance to program partners.
