## About the Role

+ B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

 + 2+ years of experience in full stack web development/software engineering

 + Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

 + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 + Experience with at least one of the following languages/frameworks:

 + TypeScript

 + Python

 + Go

 + GRPC

 + Microservices

 + Experience with databases including relational and/or non-relational databases

 + Experience with source control systems such as git

 + College level mathematics (calculus, statistics, linear algebra, etc.)

 + Ability to quickly learn and apply new software engineering technologies and methodologies

 + Ability to work under minimal supervision and within the framework of a multi-discipline team

## Description

As a software engineer you will be working within a team that develops, tests and maintains a suite of data collection, processing, storage and viewing tools supporting the development and testing of infrared sensors and systems. You will have exposure to cutting edge languages and frameworks within a business leading the innovation in the infrared space, + Responsible for software engineering tasks including requirements/user story definition, software application and library design, implementation, integration, verification, validation and maintenance.

 + Responsible for adhering to the DRS engineering processes.

 + Other duties as assigned.
