## About the Role

* The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the shift and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
 * Must be able to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24x7 operations rotation.
 * Occasional lifting of equipment, tape media, or printer supplies up to 25 pounds.
 * Limited travel may be required (less than 10%) to other customer locations.

## Description

* The Computer Operator - Mainframe/AS400 performs centralized IT operations services within the Information Technology function at Customer.
 * The position is responsible for monitoring and operating the company's mainframe and IBM iSeries (AS400) environments, executing scheduled batch and job scheduler workloads, and ensuring that plant-supporting jobs complete on time and are communicated accurately to the business.
 * Computer Operators work a rotating shift schedule that provides 24x7 coverage of Customer's core production systems, partnering closely with internal IT teams and external support partners to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
