Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Solutions Engineer, Enterprise Accounts - Central - **Company:** Palo Alto Networks - **Location:** Columbus, OH, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Active Directory, Amazon Web Services, User Authentication, Microsoft Azure, Unix, Database Security, DevOps, Multi-Factor Authentication, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Network Security, Lightweight Directory Access Protocols (LDAP), Windows Servers, Platform as a Service (PAAS), Role-Based Access Control, Scripting, Google Cloud, Cloudformation, Information Technology, Palo Alto Networks, Enterprise Integration, Terraform - **Published:** September 13, 2026 - **Apply:** https://dejobs.org/x/x/33EBBE4006B24E37BCDB26E1BF2389B4/job/ ## About the Role · Education: MIS, Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience. · Experience: 3-5 years in pre-sales, ideally in identity or security, or equivalent technical experience. · Technical Expertise: o Hands-on administration of AWS, Azure, or GCP (IaaS/PaaS). o Practical experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, LDAP, and federation services. o Understanding of authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and JIT/ZSP models. o Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. o Exposure to endpoint management and least privilege tools. o Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, database security, network security, scripting, and DevOps practices. · Integration Skills: Proven ability to integrate third-party solutions seamlessly within complex enterprise environments. · Automation: Experience scripting for automation of repetitive tasks or demo workflows. · Idira (preferred) : Prior experience with Idira solutions. · Certifications (one or more) : CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security +, AWS Security, Google Cloud Security, Azure Security. · Soft Skills: o Strong presentation skills; ability to deliver high-quality demos to technical and executive audiences. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at building relationships across multiple levels. o Excellent leadership and consensus-building skills. · Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events. ## Description * Act as technical pre-sales support on Idira's Identity Security solutions, delivering technical guidance and business-value demonstrations to Enterprise customers and partners. * Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within prospective accounts, partners, and current active customers. * Lead Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations to showcase Idira's security solutions to Enterprise customers and prospects. * Support RFP/RFI responses, ensuring Idira's solutions meet enterprise requirements. * Foster long-term relationships with technical teams and executives to ensure customer success with Idira solutions. * Support and enable Idira's partner network, ensuring they can effectively communicate the value of Idira to their Enterprise clients. * Represent Idira by engaging in public speaking, webinars, or trade shows to educate and influence customers and partners. * Serve as the customer advocate, relaying key requirements to internal teams. * Actively engage and contribute to the internal teams, serving as a resource and mentor to others when appropriate. * Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams, Palo Alto Networks may, if required by applicable law, implement a mandatory vaccination policy as a condition of employment, subject to reasonable accommodation where required by law.
