Mission BizOps ensures production readiness by partnering closely with developers to design, build, implement, and support services. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring operational excellence in availability, performance, capacity, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation. Supporting daily operations with a focus on root cause analysis and business impact. Driving the "shift-left" approach, engaging early in development to enhance reliability. Managing risk and compliance across all environments. Standardizing and streamlining traditional support functions. Acting as a key communication bridge between internal and external stakeholders. Aligning product and customer priorities with operational needs. Responsibilities Engage in and improve the entire service lifecycle - from design to deployment and operations. Scale systems through automation and reliability-focused improvements. Support and improve the CI/CD pipeline for software promotion, enforcing validation and operational gating. Lead DevOps automation initiatives and best practices at Mastercard. Drive sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems. Take a holistic approach to problem-solving during production incidents, improving Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR). Work effectively with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones. Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers., Strong background in designing and implementing efficient CI/CD flows that get code from development to production with high quality and minimal manual effort.
