## About the Role

* BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
 * PMI certification is a plus. 5-12 years of PM experience in an Engineering organization is desired.
 * Deep understanding of Engineering development process and activities.
 * Strong team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans.
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and operations planning.
 * Strong understanding of technical requirements for technology integration (hardware, software, firmware, etc.)

## Description

* Provide project planning, scheduling, tracking, and resource coordination for engineering programs.
 * Communicate within and between functional groups, including status meetings and reports.
 * Raise risks and identify dependencies within and across groups.
 * Prioritize the activities of cross-functional project teams.
 * Create and monitor schedules and resources to meet project deliverables.
 * Support, manage and influence continuous improvement of product development process, practices, and initiatives.
 * Monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel
 * Procure parts, manage purchase orders, and bills of material, and build plans.
 * Identify, escalate, and ensure the resolution of issues impacting the successful execution of programs.
 * Lead cross-functional team in the delivery of complex hardware systems and software development
 * Manage, own and drive projects with regards to cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals
 * Provide detailed project plans and schedules
