Additional qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for the required education., Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements, if applicable. If utilizing this education you must show that the education credentials have been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and that such education has been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs; or an accredited U.S. state university reports the other institution as one whose transcript is given full value, or full value is given in subject areas applicable to the curricula at the state university. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. ## Description The Alaska Statewide 911 & Interoperability Coordinator is the lead for emergency communications and interoperability across Alaska. This position shapes the technological environment for 911 services, ensures seamless communication among public safety agencies, and advances statewide interoperability initiatives. The Coordinator provides technical consulting, maintains the State 911 Plan and PSAP inventory, supports Next Generation 911 (NG911) implementation, and integrates 911 and interoperability services into state and local emergency response plans., The team performs exciting work supporting modern technology in a constantly evolving environment.
