**Published:** September 13, 2026 - **Apply:** https://dejobs.org/x/x/D746AB3FB32C4B69A1981A1F1726202A/job/ ## About the Role * Firewall administration (WatchGuard preferred) * Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or similar technologies * Network segmentation and security best practices * VPN and remote access technologies Identity & Access Management * Cisco Duo * Okta * Microsoft Authenticator * Multi-factor authentication solutions Cloud Technologies * Azure and/or AWS administration * Experience deploying or managing cloud workloads * Knowledge of cloud security best practices * Hybrid infrastructure environments Security Tools & Platforms * Endpoint security platforms * Check Point Harmony * Barracuda Solutions * KnowBe4 * Vulnerability management tools * Backup and recovery solutions such as Commvault and Barracuda Compliance & Security Frameworks * CMMC * GRC programs * Security controls and risk management * Physical and administrative security controls * Security assessments and audit support Requirements Desired Technical Background Infrastructure & Systems * Windows Server administration * VMware administration and virtualization * Network administration and troubleshooting * Active Directory and Microsoft environments Preferred Experience * Previous MSP or consulting experience strongly preferred * Experience supporting multiple clients or business units simultaneously * Exposure to penetration testing or red team exercises * Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts, SSE/SASE, or Zscaler solutions * Understanding of emerging AI-related security technologies * Experience participating in incident response activities Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be: * A "jack-of-all-trades" IT professional with a security mindset * Comfortable wearing multiple hats and shifting priorities quickly * Able to balance infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security responsibilities * Client-facing and consultative in approach * Self-motivated and adaptable * Interested in growing deeper into cybersecurity while leveraging a strong IT foundation Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® ## Description * Manage and support client security environments across network, infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint technologies * Administer and maintain firewall, network security, and access control solutions * Conduct security assessments and assist with remediation planning * Support disaster recovery, backup validation, and incident response planning initiatives * Monitor and validate backup systems and recovery processes * Assist with vulnerability management and security hardening efforts * Participate in client onboarding activities, including occasional onsite security evaluations * Support compliance initiatives including CMMC and broader GRC programs * Work alongside engineering teams to support and enhance client security operations * Help clients strengthen identity and access management programs * Participate in security reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts * Stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies ## Related Videos -
