This role is ideal for someone who thrives at uncovering deep insights, translating them into meaningful design decisions, and helping teams center around the voice of the customer. As a senior member of our UX team, you'll lead discovery efforts, define research roadmaps, and influence product direction through evidence-based design. You'll also mentor and coach other designers to level up their research and strategic thinking skills. A DAY IN THE LIFE * Champion and lead UX research across multiple products, planning, conducting, and synthesizing findings from usability testing, interviews, field studies, and more. * Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problem spaces, validate hypotheses, and advocate for customer needs throughout the product lifecycle. * Translate insights into journey maps, problem statements, opportunities, and design strategies that drive alignment and clarity. * Lead the full UX design process, from discovery to high-fidelity designs and final handoff, keeping research at the core. * Present findings and design solutions to stakeholders, including executives, focusing on business impact and user experience. * Mentor junior and intermediate designers, especially in research planning, synthesis, and storytelling. * Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring user insights influence scalable, consistent patterns across products. * Identify gaps in our understanding of the customer and proactively propose research efforts to close them.
