PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Active DoD security clearance. + Experience interfacing with radars, EO/IR or other sensors, or C2 systems. + Familiarity with defense messaging and bus standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, DDS, Link 16, or similar). + Experience with Python for tooling and test automation. + Experience with multithreaded and low-latency network programming. + Prior defense or aerospace program participation. ## Description The Software Engineer develops device-interface and systems-integration software that connects IPG's directed-energy platforms to the outside world - radars, sensors, cameras, and command-and-control (C2) systems. Working from Interface Control Documents (ICDs), this hands-on role builds reliable communication software in C#/Qt, prototypes quickly with embedded hardware, and supports integration in the lab and in the field.
