Sky Business is one of Sky's targeted growth sectors. This is a pivotal new leadership role supporting the Director of Software Engineering by bringing consistency, accountability and technical excellence to platform evolution. The role will help shape how Sky Business builds, integrates, tests, operates and continuously improves its software platforms during a period of significant transformation and growth. The role will focus on platform modernisation, engineering standards, technical design integrity and the adoption of modern engineering practices that enable secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective customer-facing platforms. Focus will be on driving exploitation of the Salesforce platform, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities and reuse of existing capabilities to deliver solutions that underpin the delivery of product and customer journeys across Sky Business to delight customers. Platform comprises the core hardware and software components that provide the capabilities to build, maintain and support Sky Business Products, Services and Customer Journeys. The BusinessOS platform comprises of Salesforce CRM, Billing and the integration services that support both internal and external access to the overall BusinessOS "platform".
