## About the Role

* Previous experience within Electrical Design within Automation or Control Systems
 * HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
 * Experience using electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar
 * Experience as a senior design engineer or keen to emerge into this role
 * Background working with industrial machinery, production equipment or similar
 * Ability to lead projects and support or mentor junior engineers
 * Commutable to the office in Norwich

The Role of the Electrical Design Engineer Will Include:

 * Producing detailed electrical designs and engineering drawings for control and automation systems
 * Creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel designs
 * Working closely with controls, software, instrumentation and project engineers
 * Selecting electrical components and ensuring designs meet relevant engineering standards
