Technical knowledge: Strong programming knowledge of MATLAB for scientific applications. Languages: Advanced level in English (both written & spoken); Spanish capability is desirable for local team coordination. Valuable / Nice to have: Experience with compiled languages (Fortran *****, C++) or willingness to learn them, as well as familiarity with Python libraries like SimPy and Numba. ## Description Methods & Tools Software Developer Engineer - Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid) Data Processing and Analysis Development group within the Ground Station Team, as part of the Flight and Integration Test Centre. The selected candidate will join the Data Processing and Analysis Development group within the Ground Station Team, as part of the Flight and Integration Test Centre. The candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the software ecosystem used by Test and System Specialists to perform data analysis across key Airbus Defence & Space programs (including A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, and Eurodrone). In this role, the candidate will act as a bridge between the Analysis Community in Spain and the Ground Station team, offering direct technical support across diverse domains such as Avionics, Mission, Performance, Handling Qualities, Powerplant, General Systems, Aerial Delivery, and Datalinks. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain software tools used by Test Centre Analysis Teams to process and analyze test data. Collaborate closely with specialized Test Analysis groups to translate complex mathematical models into functional, efficient software tools. Shape the future technology stack for Analysis Tools by guiding the migration and integration of the current toolset into the new Time Series Analysis Tool Platform for Military (TSASM).
