 * fundierte Erfahrung mit relevanten (Meta-)Datenstandards, Datenstrukturen und Datenformaten für große räumliche und zeitliche Datensätze
 * Erfahrung im Umgang mit Geographischen Informationssystemen (GIS), insbesondere mit der ESRI-Softwarefamilie und ArcGIS Enterprise
 * Programmierkenntnisse, idealerweise in Python im Zusammenhang mit ArcGIS-Produkten (z. B. ArcGIS API for Python, GeoPandas)
 * Kenntnisse im Bereich Fernerkundung (Remote Sensing) sowie Berufserfahrung in der Landwirtschaft sind von Vorteil
 * ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch; Deutsch- und/oder weitere Sprachkenntnisse

## Description

Werden Sie Teil unseres Agricultural Products Environmental Fate Teams und unterstützen Sie uns als Geodata Steward. In dieser Rolle tragen Sie zur Organisation, Entwicklung und Umsetzung von GIS-Projekten (Geographische Informationssysteme) sowie geodatenbezogenen Aktivitäten im Bereich Agricultural Solutions der BASF bei.

 * Sie bündeln die Geodatenanforderungen verschiedener Einheiten aus Forschung und Entwicklung, Marketing sowie Vertrieb.
 * Dazu gehören die Beschaffung, Dokumentation und Verwaltung von Geodaten auf bestehenden Plattformen (z. B. ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise).
 * Sie fungieren als zentrale Ansprechperson für interne und externe Stakeholder.
 * Darüber hinaus übernehmen Sie eigenständig projektbezogene Aufgaben der Geodatenverarbeitung, beispielsweise die Klassifizierung hochauflösender Landnutzungskarten, die Interpolation räumlicher Daten oder die Identifizierung von Landschaftselementen mithilfe von Fernerkundungsdaten.
