## About the Role

To be suitable for this position of Design Engineer you should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD (ACAD / Auto CAD) and Solidworks 3D and 2D. You should also have experience in a similar role ideally within an Automotive / Fabrication / Vehicle Conversion setting and have a good working knowledge of Aluminium and Stainless Steel., * design engineer

## Description

As Design Engineer you will be responsible for both bespoke and standardised product offerings from conception through to completion. Your day to day duties will involve:

 * Creating designs for customer sign off
 * Producing BOM's
 * Checking specifications for feasibility
 * Developing and maintaining build manuals for the core product range
 * Developing prototype and bespoke vehicles with production staff
 * Recording any design changes
 * Using Solidworks to create 3D models
 * Other duties as required

This Design Engineer's position has excellent working hours:

Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm

Friday 8.30am - 3pm!
