## About the Role

You'll be an experienced Full Stack, Front End or Backend Engineer with strong TypeScript experience and a passion for building high-quality, scalable software.

## Description

* TypeScript, JavaScript, React and modern front-end technologies
 * Backend development using TypeScript, Java, C# or a similar OOP language
 * REST, GraphQL and WebSockets
 * AWS and cloud-based technologies
 * Microservices and event-driven architecture
 * SQL and NoSQL databases
 * Automated unit, integration and E2E testing
 * Terraform and containerisation
 * CI/CD and modern software development practices
 * Git and Agile development environments

You'll also be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, challenging ideas constructively and helping less experienced engineers develop their technical skills.

What you'll do

 * Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software
 * Help drive engineering improvements across the team
 * Work closely with architects, technical leads and other engineers
 * Contribute to wider system architecture and technical discussions
 * Refactor and evolve existing systems towards the target architecture
 * Support the delivery of scalable, reusable services
 * Promote strong engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle
 * Mentor and support junior members of the team

The team owns and operates its services through to production, so there may occasionally be a requirement to support production incidents outside of standard working hours.
