## About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with 3+ years of experience and previous MOD experience to work on a high-profile programme within a complex government environment., * 3+ years' security experience

 * Previous MOD experience - essential
 * Active SC clearance - essential
 * Strong understanding of security risk and compliance within government environments
 * Experience with security-by-design
 * Knowledge of JSP 440, JSP 451 and JSP 453
 * Understanding of government security and assurance frameworks
 * Experience working with CAF principles
 * Knowledge of ISO 27001 and wider information security standards
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

## Description

You'll support security risk, compliance and assurance activities, helping ensure solutions are designed and delivered in line with relevant government and defence security requirements.

You'll be responsible for:

 * Assessing security risks and compliance within government environments
 * Supporting the implementation and assessment of security-by-design principles
 * Advising project and technical teams on security requirements
 * Supporting security assurance and risk management activities
 * Applying relevant defence security policies, standards and frameworks
 * Working with stakeholders to identify and manage security risks
 * Supporting assessments against Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) principles
 * Producing and reviewing security documentation and assurance artefacts
