## About the Role

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer I to plan and execute complex integration and verification test events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in system integration and testing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment., * Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.

 * Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
 * Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting
 * Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

 * Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
 * Experience with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems
 * Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification
 * Proficiency with commonly used test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
 * Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS or equivalent) and configuration control practices
 * Experience with MATLAB, Python, JavaScript, C/C++ and/or other programming languages

## Description

* Support testing effort: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in both simulated and real-world environments
 * Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging
 * Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
 * Modeling and Analysis: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation
 * Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware in the loop environments, evaluating their functionality and impact.
 * Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
 * Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
 * Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations occurring primarily during first shift and part time section shift hours.
 * This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Andover or Tewksbury, MA. Local travel between Raytheon locations in MA and Southern NH may also be required
