## About the Role

* Proven industry experience providing GIS support across multiple projects, ideally within a multidisciplinary environment.
 * Hands-on experience with QGIS, and/or ArcGis Pro / Online.
 * Practical experience using FME Form and FME Flow for data integration, workflow automation, and system integrations.
 * Experience designing, managing, and maintaining PostGIS/PostgreSQL spatial databases.
 * Experience publishing, managing, and supporting web services using GeoServer.
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

 * Experience with Python scripting.
 * Knowledge of ArcPy and ModelBuilder.
 * Degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
 * Membership of, or willingness to work towards membership of, a recognised professional body such as Chartered Geographer (CGeog).

## Description

* Support, maintain, and enhance GIS applications used across the business and client projects.
 * Develop innovative GIS workflows and solutions that improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
 * Act as a subject matter expert for GIS data capture, spatial analysis, modelling, and cartographic services.
 * Configure, deploy, and maintain ArcGIS Online applications and mobile GIS solutions.
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated geospatial processes and workflows.
 * Manage, optimise, and maintain spatial databases.
 * Support and administer web mapping services using GeoServer and related technologies.
 * Provide technical GIS expertise and consultancy to both clients and internal teams.
