## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a banking technology team, working on the development, modernisation and optimisation of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Spring Boot experience, along with hands-on expertise in JVM tuning and application restructuring., * Strong Java development experience

 * Excellent Spring Boot experience
 * Hands-on experience with JVM tuning and performance optimisation
 * Proven experience with application restructuring / modernisation
 * Strong understanding of application architecture and software engineering principles
 * Experience working with large-scale, production applications
 * Banking or financial services experience is highly desirable

## Description

* Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
 * Restructure and modernise existing applications to improve performance, scalability and maintainability
 * Perform JVM tuning and performance optimisation
 * Analyse application performance and identify bottlenecks
 * Design and implement robust, production-quality solutions
 * Work closely with engineering and technology teams to deliver application improvements
 * Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues
