## About the Role

* Proven experience as a UX Designer on GDS/public sector digital programmes.
 * Strong understanding of the GDS Service Manual and service assessments.
 * Expertise in user-centred design methodologies.
 * Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
 * Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
 * Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams.

Mandatory Requirements

 * Active SC Clearance is essential.
 * Minimum 5 years' continuous UK residency.
 * Ability to attend occasional client site visits in London or Manchester.

## Description

* Lead UX design activities across complex digital services and products.
 * Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and interaction designs.
 * Conduct and interpret user research to inform design decisions.
 * Collaborate with User Researchers, Service Designers, Product Managers, Developers and Content Designers.
 * Ensure services meet GDS standards, accessibility requirements and user needs.
 * Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
 * Support iterative design through testing, feedback and continuous improvement.
