* Education to A level, NVQ level three, BTEC or equivalent in ICT, or relevant experience
 * Proven experience of virtualisation technologies and Windows server environments
 * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
 * The ability to analyse problems and provide clear, practical solutions
 * Experience translating technical information into plain English for colleagues
 * The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
 * A collaborative approach and a willingness to support wider team goals

Role Responsibilities

 * Provide third line technical support across server infrastructure
 * Support and manage infrastructure platforms, including system configuration
 * Maintain core services such as security, compliance, messaging, patching and Microsoft technologies.
 * Take ownership of support requests, diagnose faults and resolve technical issues
 * Work with service desk colleagues, service teams and users to ensure continuous service delivery
 * Support and maintain virtual infrastructure and security systems, including upgrades, backups and threat monitoring
