Preferred Qualifications * Experience with public sector, utilities, or large enterprise HCM transformations. * Oracle Fusion Compensation Cloud certification. * Knowledge of Payroll integrations and compensation-to-payroll processing impacts. * Experience with HDL, HCM Extracts, and reporting validation. * Familiarity with Oracle Recruiting, Talent Management, and Core HR integrations. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Compensation Lead to support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Compensation solutions for a one year contract in San Antonio, Tx.. This individual will serve as the primary Compensation functional lead, partnering directly with the client module lead, business SMEs, Payroll team, and cross-functional HCM workstreams to deliver scalable and compliant Compensation capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong Oracle Fusion Compensation expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience leading solution design, configuration, testing, and defect resolution through System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)., Functional Leadership * Act as the Oracle Fusion Compensation functional lead for the project. * Work directly with client leads and business SMEs to gather, refine, and validate business requirements. * Facilitate workshops and design sessions to confirm business processes and future-state solutions. * Translate business requirements into functional designs and Oracle Fusion Compensation configurations. * Provide recommendations on leading practices while ensuring alignment with client business objectives. * Manage off-shore support and testing resources Solution Design & Configuration * Lead configuration of Oracle Fusion Compensation functionality including: + Workforce Compensation + Individual Compensation + Compensation Plans + Compensation Cycles + Eligibility Profiles + Compensation Workflows * Document solution design decisions and maintain configuration workbooks. * Validate end-to-end impacts across Core HR, Talent, and Payroll processes. Testing & Quality Assurance * Develop test strategy and testing approach for Compensation workstream. * Prepare SIT and UAT test scenarios, test scripts, and supporting test data. * Coordinate execution of System Integration Testing (SIT). * Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders. * Track defects, prioritize resolutions, and coordinate remediation efforts with functional and technical teams. * Validate system configuration and business outcomes through testing cycles. Cross-Functional Coordination * Collaborate closely with Payroll, Core HR, Talent Management, Security, Reporting, and Integration teams. * Assess impacts of compensation configuration on payroll processing, salary changes, elements, and compensation-related transactions. * Coordinate dependencies, testing activities, and deployment readiness across workstreams. Client Engagement * Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and SMEs. * Provide status updates, risk assessments, and issue management support. * Facilitate requirement, design, testing, and defect triage meetings. * Support change management, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
