## About the Role

* We're looking for someone who is technically capable, approachable and keen to help, and is confident troubleshooting common IT problems and have the ability to learn quickly.
 * Previous experience working on a technical helpdesk or service desk.
 * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
 * Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common desktop applications.
 * Good communication and customer service skills.
 * A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
 * The ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests.
 * A willingness to learn and develop your technical skills.

## Description

Synergize Consulting are hiring for an IT Helpdesk Analyst to work at a leading technology client on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective and friendly IT support to users, resolving issues wherever possible and escalating more complex problems when required.
Responsibilities include:

 * Providing 1st and 2nd Line IT support via telephone, email and ticketing systems
 * Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and Windows-related issues
 * Setting up and configuring PCs, laptops and user accounts
 * Supporting Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
 * Troubleshooting network, connectivity, printing and peripheral issues.
 * Managing and updating support tickets, ensuring issues are documented clearly
 * Escalating more complex technical issues appropriately.
 * Supporting new starters and leavers with IT access and equipment.
 * Working as part of the wider IT team to maintain a high standard of service.
 * Helping to identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve the support service.
