Technologies you will work with Python (pandas, numpy, ML libraries...), SQL, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, ADK...), Airflow, dbt, MLflow, GitLab, Atlan ## Description As a Data Science Engineer, you will work in the Data Science Core team, a shared team supporting data science across Lighthouse. You will own work from an initial business question through to models and AI products that reach customers. The role combines hands-on internal consulting for teams without embedded data science support, readiness to support important data domains, and continuous research into AI applications for hospitality. You will work independently on projects while drawing on the support of Senior Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers. Where you will have impact * Partner with internal teams to contribute your data science expertise to projects * Advise on and review data science work, or contribute hands-on to longer projects. * Build, evaluate, and ship machine learning and AI models for customer-facing use. * Bring models and AI products from an initial question through to production. * Ramp up on important data domains to provide support and maintenance when needs arise. * Research developments in advanced AI capabilities and experiment with their application in hospitality. * Collaborate with stakeholders to determine whether a solution is ready for customer use. About our team You'll be joining our Data Science Core team. Supporting teams with data science expertise, maintaining important data domains, and researching how developments in AI can be applied in hospitality. You'll work alongside three MLOps Engineers and a Lead Data Scientist.
