## About the Role

* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
 * Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
 * Experience (Preferred but not required):
 * Hands-on experience with motion control systems, robotics, or Machine Vision.
 * Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with chip testing equipment, ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), or lab instrumentation.
 * Technical Skills:
 * Familiarity with hardware communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, USB, RS-232, CAN bus, GPIB).
 * Understanding of multi-threading, real-time data processing, and UI development (WPF/WinForms).
 * Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
 * Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills to work across cross-functional engineering teams.

## Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our automation engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize software systems for our next-generation automated semiconductor chip testing equipment. You will bridge the gap between software and hardware, ensuring high-precision control and reliable test execution., * Design, code, test, and debug robust software applications for automated semiconductor test equipment.

 * Develop and maintain software architectures using C# and the .NET framework to interface with complex hardware components.
 * Implement precision motion control algorithms and integrate hardware drivers (e.g., motors, stages, sensors).
 * Collaborate with Electrical and Computer Engineers to define system requirements, debug hardware-software interfaces, and optimize test throughput.
 * Create and execute comprehensive software test plans to validate system performance and reliability.
 * Provide technical documentation and support for system deployment and troubleshooting.
