## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
 * Several years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
 * Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, project management, and technical problem-solving.
 * Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
 * Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
 * Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)

 * Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
 * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
 * Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
 * Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
 * Agile or Scrum certification.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic SCC System Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives, oversee system design and integration, and ensure the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring system reliability, quality, and operational excellence., Engineering Leadership

 * Lead and mentor a team of system engineers and technical professionals.
 * Establish engineering priorities, goals, and project objectives.
 * Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team environment.

System Design & Integration

 * Oversee the design, development, integration, and implementation of complex systems.
 * Ensure engineering solutions meet customer, operational, and business requirements.
 * Review system architecture, technical specifications, and design documentation.

Project Management

 * Manage engineering projects from planning through implementation and completion.
 * Coordinate schedules, budgets, resources, and project milestones.
 * Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 * Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, quality, IT, and other departments to support project execution.
 * Communicate technical updates and project status to stakeholders and leadership.
 * Support customer requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

 * Develop and implement engineering best practices and standardized processes.
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
 * Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.

Technical Support

 * Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting complex system issues.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
 * Support product development, testing, validation, and system optimization.
