## About the Role

* 2-10+ years of experience in commissioning, instrumentation, controls, or related field services

 * Experience with instrumentation verification, troubleshooting, and commissioning execution

 * Familiarity with Modbus RS-485 communication and industrial instrumentation

 * Hands-on experience with devices such as Krohne flowmeters, DP transmitters, Vaisala sensors, and related

Field instrumentation preferred:

 * Ability to read wiring diagrams, P&IDs;, and instrumentation drawings

 * Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

 * Ability to work onsite in an active construction and commissioning environment

 * Comfortable working from lifts (<15 ft floor level) and in field conditions

 * Experience in mission-critical or data center environments is preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Technical Exposure:

 * BMS / EPMS systems

 * PLC / SCADA platforms

 * Industrial networking and communication protocols

 * HVAC or utility system commissioning

 * Mission-critical infrastructure systems

 * Integrated Systems Testing (IST) support

## Description

We are seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers / Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians to support a mission-critical data center commissioning project. The selected candidates will work closely with engineering leadership teams to execute hands-on commissioning activities, field verification, troubleshooting, and instrumentation validation activities across critical infrastructure systems.

This role involves daily onsite commissioning support using established commissioning procedures, checklists, and testing processes within a live mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 * Perform field verification of instrumentation wiring and installed devices

 * Execute loop checks, point-to-point verification, and commissioning checklists

 * Troubleshoot instrumentation and controls-related issues during commissioning activities

 * Support setup and verification of Modbus RS-485 communication networks and addressing

 * Validate operation of field instruments including DP transmitters, flowmeters, humidity sensors, and associated devices

 * Assist with startup and functional testing activities under supervision of engineering leadership

 * Coordinate closely with commissioning leads, controls engineers, contractors, and field teams

 * Document deficiencies, test results, and punch-list items during commissioning execution

 * Support commissioning activities for mission-critical infrastructure systems within data center environments

 * Comply with all project safety standards, site requirements, and commissioning procedures
