## About the Role

* Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke, allround IT-infrastructuur rol.
 * Je bent vlot tweetalig: een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en Frans is een absolute must. Kennis van het Engels is een plus.
 * Je hebt diepgaande hands-on ervaring met Microsoft-omgevingen: Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online en SharePoint.
 * Je bezit een sterke netwerkkennis: TCP/IP, routing, VLAN's en serverhardware.
 * Nice to have: Kennis van VoIP en/of Apple macOS.
 * Je hebt een "can do"-mentaliteit en bent een echte teamplayer.

## Description

Als System Engineer ben jij de ultieme probleemoplosser. Je fungeert als het technisch geweten van de afdeling en neemt de zwaarste escalaties voor jouw rekening.

* Escalaties & Troubleshooting: Je analyseert, reproduceert en verhelpt de meest complexe storingen, fouten en prestatieproblemen binnen diverse IT-omgevingen.
 * Optimalisatie & Oplossingen: Je zorgt voor doordachte, duurzame oplossingen en ondersteunt bij de configuratie van geavanceerde hard- en softwaretoepassingen.
 * Advisory: Je denkt proactief mee met de klanten om hun IT-infrastructuur veiliger, stabieler en toekomstgericht te maken (vanop afstand, je wordt in principe niet op de baan gestuurd).
 * Kennisdeling: Je bent de technische sparringpartner voor je collega-engineers. Je helpt hen vooruit en verbetert samen de interne processen en documentatie.
