Working closely with the CEO, and broader senior management team you'll define and implement a technology strategy into an infrastructure that supports our rapid growth and ambitious goals. We're looking for a strong leader to act as a key technical voice in planning discussions with the CEO and senior leadership team. Someone who has hands-on experience scaling e-commerce platforms and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team directly when needed., Technology Roadmap and Leadership * Own development and execution of the technology roadmap. * Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms and technologies that provide competitive advantage in the e-commerce landscape. * Act as a key technical voice in planning discussions with the CEO and cross-functional leads. * Partner with senior leadership team on strategic planning and initiatives. Platform & Product Development * Lead day-to-day development and optimisation of our e-commerce platform, website, mobile app, and supporting systems (e.g., order management, warehousing, fulfilment). * Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and uptime as traffic and transactions increase. * Champion innovation and the adoption of AI/ML driven tools and solutions to efficiencies across the business. * Embed best practice across all platforms, systems, tools and functions. Leadership & Team Management * Build and lead high-performing engineering, data, and IT teams, ensuring the teams deliver to the roadmap. * Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Attract, retain, and develop top technical talent. Cybersecurity & Compliance * Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect customer data, systems, and intellectual property. * Ensure technology compliance with legal, financial, and data privacy regulations alongside the broader senior leadership team. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. * Support go-to-market initiatives with technical solutions that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement.
