## About the Role

We're looking for someone with approximately 2-3 years' commercial Data Science experience who can take ownership of projects and confidently work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You'll ideally have:

 * Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
 * Excellent Python skills.
 * Strong SQL experience.
 * Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical modelling.
 * Experience working with predictive modelling techniques.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences.
 * A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another STEM-related discipline.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
 * Experience with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn.
 * Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
 * Experience with Git/version control.
 * Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs or NLP.
 * Experience deploying models into production environments.

## Description

* Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems.
 * Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities.
 * Use Python and SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data.
 * Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.
 * Build predictive models and evaluate their performance.
 * Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure reliable and scalable data pipelines.
 * Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
 * Present insights and model outputs to senior business stakeholders.
 * Continuously improve existing models, processes and analytical approaches.
 * Contribute to the development of best practices across the wider data function.
