World Class Defence Organisation based in Chippenham, Wiltshire is currently looking to recruit a Database Manager subcontractor on an initial 6 month contract. This role would be ideal for a candidate from a Database Manager, Oracle Database Administrator or Oracle DBA background, with experience supporting and maintaining databases and systems within a mission critical environment. Hourly Rate: £41.71ph (Umbrella) Contract Duration: 6 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter) Database Manager Job Description: Perform database maintenance and update activities Implement database changes as requested through change management procedures Release new databases on system Maintain database change control documentation Perform routine data and software backup and archiving activities Perform routine system maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure optimum performance Diagnose and rectify system failures Re-start subsystems to recover from failures Support the
