## About the Role

The role would suit an experienced electronics engineer with a strong background in analogue and digital circuit design, FPGA/MPU technology, embedded systems and low-power electronics., * Strong analogue and digital electronics design experience

 * FPGA and MPU experience
 * Low-power and low-noise electronics design
 * EMC design and testing experience
 * Understanding of relevant EMC standards, including EN60945
 * Altium and PCB design experience
 * Embedded C programming
 * C++ knowledge
 * Microprocessor implementation
 * Electronics and embedded software fault finding
 * Production support experience
 * Strong technical documentation skills
 * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, A 2:1 or above in a relevant Engineering degree, such as Electronic or Electrical Engineering, is required.

## Description

* Develop analogue and digital electronic hardware
 * Develop and support embedded firmware
 * Lead hardware and electronics design reviews
 * Act as a technical authority on electronics design for new product developments
 * Design reliable, low-power and low-noise electronic systems
 * Design for EMC and support EMC testing and standards compliance
 * Carry out hands-on electronics and embedded software fault finding
 * Evaluate different design approaches and technical solutions
 * Produce accurate engineering and design documentation
 * Provide technical support to Production
 * Provide mentorship and technical direction to engineering colleagues
 * Keep up to date with developments in electronics technologies and toolsets
