## About the Role

* Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation oder Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung
 * Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Python Backend Entwicklung
 * Erfahrung in der Konzeption und Optimierung von ETL Prozessen
 * Gute Kenntnisse in SQL (Oracle / PostgreSQL)
 * Erfahrung im Bereich Performance Tuning - Analyse von langsamem Code (Profiling) sowie gezielter Optimierung
 * Erfahrung in der Bearbeitung von Tickets (2nd/3rd Level) und im Umgang mit ITSM-Tools (z.B. Jira, ServiceNow)
 * Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

## Description

* Design, Implementierung und Wartung skalierbarer Backend-Services und APIs mit Python und FastAPI
 * Verantwortlich für die Neuentwicklung und Weiterentwicklung unserer geschäftskritischen ETL-Prozesse und Datenverarbeitungs-Pipelines, unter Verwendung von Airflow und Python
 * Analyse bestehender Daten-Workflows und Python-Skripte
 * Identifikation von Performance-Engpässen und Implementierung von Geschwindigkeitssteigerungen und Effizienzverbesserungen
 * Entwicklung von SQL-Abfragen und Optimierung der Anbindung an unsere Datenbanksysteme (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
 * Sicherung der Codequalität durch Tests sowie Erstellung notwendiger Docker-Container für die Anwendungen
 * Zusammenarbeit mit dem DevOps-Team für den Betrieb in der GitLab / Nomad-Landschaft
 * Dokumentation in Wiki und Jira
